As a hometown girl, I wanted to return to my roots to raise my three sons and serve the community that shaped me. I have had the privilege of servicing the Hill Country since 2006 and I am proud to continue making a difference through patient care.
Roberts Speech Therapy is one of the few clinics servicing the speech therapy needs of the Hill Country and surrounding area. Krista Roberts began her interest in speech therapy as a special education teacher for the preschool program for children with disabilities. From there she expanded her experience to various settings, and eventually, achieved her dream and opened her practice in 2006. She offers a variety of services, including tongue thrust therapy, Stroke/TBI rehab, feeding and swallowing therapy and post-COVID cognitive rehab. Her services also include work with articulation disorders, expressive and receptive language delays, stuttering and fluency disorders and voice disorders. ”Being a speech therapist is full of intrinsic rewards – the excitement of eliciting a child’s first sounds or words and the joy it brings to the parents,” she said. “I love helping others and having a positive impact in the lives of others.” Krista Roberts also finds time to serve in the community. She previously served with Executive Women’s Club, Big Brothers and Big Sisters Board, YMCA Board member, Hill Country Charity Ball Association and is a 2008 graduate of Kerr County Leadership. Her husband of 26 years, Rance, grew up in the Hill Country. She is a 1991 graduate of Tivy High School and received a degree from Texas Tech University.
